Hello, I'm Brian Tracy and welcome to this program. What you are about to learn can change your life. These ideas, insights and strategies have been the springboards to financial success for millions of men and women, from every walk of life. These principles are simple, effective and fairly easy to apply. Each of them is based on exhaustive research and interviews with thousands of self-made millionaires. They have been tested and proven over and over again, and they will work for you if you will take them and apply them in your own life.

We are living at the greatest time in all of human history. More people are becoming wealthy today, starting from nothing than has ever been imagined. There are more than five million millionaires in America, most of them self-made, and the number is growing by 15% to 20% each year.

We even have self-made ten millionaires, hundred millionaires and more than two hundred billionaires. We have never seen this type of rapid wealth creation in all of human history.

The Business of Blogging

Blogs are well beyond the days of being just for fun; they are truly a business now. I know about some bloggers who raise an eyebrow at this because they think that blogging is journalism and journalism is not business. These school of bloggers believe that blogging is sacred and it's goal is purely the expression of one's thoughts and views.

They believe that when a blogger starts thinking about earning money from his blog he loses the purity of thought to function as a true blogger because his words would be tainted with the color of money and his credibility among other bloggers and the world in general would take a hit over time if it becomes too obvious that his posts are paid and therefore not really comingfrom within him. I don't see it exactly that way.

Yes, blogging can be considered journalism but journalism, like blogging, is business. Business and journalism are two different words with the same meaning. No one can deny that. Business makes the world go round; without business the world will wither and die. Of course I would not deny the fact that a blog with more paid posts than non-paid posts loses credibility. We’ve already seen that with some bloggers who aggressively push paid posts.

There is nothing wrong about selling your writing skills as long as what you write about is within the perimeter of your interests. It is not actually "selling out". It is just a matter of seeing the good in everything and writing about that good.

I stumbled upon an article at FoxNews.com about the hacking of World Bank. It is stated in the article that servers in The World Bank Group's highly-restricted treasury unit were deeply penetrated with spy software last April.

The hackers were also able to gain full access to the rest of the bank's network for almost a month, that was in June and July. There were six major intrusions since 2007 and two of these were traced back to a group of ip addresses located in China.

The most recent attack happened last month. This is considered as the worst security breach ever at a global financial institution.

This makes us think that no one is safe anymore. The World bank is a very large organization and yet their security is not that impenetrable. How secure are we?

Batman’s Batpod Info

Last summer, we reported that Spider-man 3 broke the record for the most successful opening weekend. I’ve just heard that this record has been broken by The Dark Knight, which is on the verge of becoming the best superhero movie ever.

I’m sure a lot of you saw it over the weekend. Some of you might have been greatly impressed by the Batpod, director Christopher Nolan’s take on the classic bat-cycle, without the sidecar for Robin. The Batpod was designed by Nathan Crowley, the same man who designed the Tumbler from the Batman Begins.

The stuntmen had a difficult time riding the Batpod. The vehicle has no handlebars, but shields for the shoulders that allow for steering. It was also difficult to keep balance on the huge 508 millimeter tires, with engines in both hubs of each wheel. Not only that, the driver has to lie belly down on either side of the tank, balanced on two foot pegs spaced 3 ½ feet apart.

I suppose learning how to ride a bike again is a small price to pay for riding the Batpod, especially when it has grappling hooks and machine guns. Boo-yeah!

Since six Batpods were built for this movie, we might see one of these available on Ebay, assuming they were not all wrecked during filming. Perhaps these Batpods might inspire some new extreme sport of some kind, and more of these special cycles could be designed for the casual, non-bat consumer.

My wife stumbled upon Unicorn Media's website and stayed there for a long time because she got hooked listening to the music of featured musicians there. She also had a good time watching videos made by independent filmmakers. Unicorn Media helps emerging and unsigned artists promote their works in high quality digital format. If you are an artist you are free to have your content promoted by them. It is also free for anyone to enjoy the content of the site, from song to videos.

My wife told me about the site and of course I visited it. What I saw was a site that is a good medium for music promotion. If you are an unheard of musician wanting your beautiful work heard by the world then here is your chance to be heard. I checked Unicorn Media's music section and found very good music there. One band really got me with their instrumental pieces. I told my wife about the band and found out that it was also the same band that she liked listening to in Unicorn's Media's music section. The band is Pedja. I really like the guitar sound of this band and the way they arrange their music. Like my wife, I got hooked with their instrumental pieces Raindrop and Broken Engagement. Then my wife showed me the video she liked in the video section of the site, it is an independent film by Wysiwyg Flms that took four years to make. I liked the high concept of the film and its visual effects. The story is equally impressive. Independent film is really something worth putting one's time into.

I checked out Unicorn Media's blog, Unicornsightings.com, there I found a lot of valuable information that would be of help to unsigned artists. There are lots of tips for getting signed up. So if you are a musician needing music promotion or a filmmaker wanting the world to see your work, check Unicorn Media out and start promoting your content.

Basic of life insurance

What is term life insurance? You have an interest in buying term life insurance, that is why you are reading this article, and you want to know how it really works. Right? Well, there are many types of term life insurance and I am going to give you a brief explanation as to how each one works.

Decreasing Term Life Insurance

Decreasing term life insurance is very popular with home owners and mortgage companies. The homeowners want to know that the mortgage is paid off if they should prematurely die, and the mortgage company want to be assured that they are repaid the money loaned to the homeowner. The face amount of these policies decrease in a uniformed manner each year as the balance owed on the mortgage decreases, and the premium remains level. This is very inexpensive life insurance.

Increasing Premium Term Life Insurance

This is initially the cheapest term life insurance you can buy. The death benefit remains level for the duration, however, the premiums increase every year and as a result this may turn out to be the most expensive term life insurance you can buy. If you should purchase this policy it would be wise to convert to a level plan as quickly as possible.

Yahoo Web Analytics

Yahoo! launched its own web analytics service. It is still in beta stage and is available on a limited basis to a selected few advertisers and third party application developers. Yahoo! has acquired IndexTools earlier this year so it is only natural for them to roll out this kind of service which is also being offered by Google and Microsoft.

The next "big deployment", according to Jitendra Kavathekar, Yahoo's VP of Web Analytics, will be for Yahoo's Small Business service users. Yahoo Web Analytics will continue to be rolled out this year and into 2009. This service is free. In Yahoo web Analytics FAQ, three reasons are pointed out that make this service better than what Google and Microsoft has to offer:

  1. Real-time Data: “While some analytics products provide data 24-48 hours after collection, Yahoo! Web Analytics reflects data within minutes of collection.”
  2. Raw Data: “While some products store aggregated data, which restricts the usefulness of the data to pre-created or canned reports, Yahoo! Web Analytics stores data in non-aggregated raw form.”
  3. Ease-of-Use and Flexibility

Full Length TV Show in YouTube

There are signs that in the very near future we will be watching full-lenght TV shows in YouTube.

YouTube and CBS started rolling out full-length episodes of selected TV shows from CBS archives like Star Trek, MacGuyver, Beverly Hills 90210, Star Trek, and The Young And the Restless.

These videos will be quiet different from the normal Youtube videos we see because they will have pre-roll and interstitional ads.

If you are familiar with Hulu you will say that Youtube is, in a way, copying this side of Hulu.
